Mark Helm has been in the real estate industry since 1985. In 1999 Mark formed Helm/Dischinger Property Management, Inc., and placed his commercial real estate brokerage business with RE/MAX Commercial Brokers of Louisville. Helm/Dischinger Property Management currently manages approximately 300,000 square feet of office and retail product and employs six full time staff people.

 

Always thinking outside box, in 1999 Mark Purchased a residential REMAX Franchise and rolled a Commercial Division, Auction division, and Property Management Division, creating Louisville’s only full service RE/MAX Brokerage. Mark has consistently earned top agent awards in the Kentucky/Tennessee RE/Max Region. He sold the franchise and focuses on building a self-storage portfolio and online self-storage training business.
Mark also owns, manages, and develops self storage facilities.  The Q2 Self-Storage brand is a growing company that acquires self-storage in multiple markets. Mark oversees the asset management of the facility, operations, and expansion of the investor friendly self-storage enterprise.

Mark authored an internationally bestselling book “Creating Wealth through Self Storage” in 2014. In his book Mark delivers a proven, step by step strategy on how to find, analyze, and acquire self-storage facilities that meet the goals of each individual that is trying to start or grow a self storage business.

Mark is the creator of Storage World Analyzer – an online self storage analysis program that is the only one of it’s kind for the self storage market.
